In the Army, Soldiers are held accountable for all the equipment owned by the Army. That includes weapons, canteens, desks and computers. If any equipment is lost then an investigation is conducted to determine who is held accountable.
Soldiers are also held accountable for their actions. As you have seen in the news, the actions of a few Soldiers can have impact felt throughout the world. Not only are individuals held accountable for their actions, but so are those who are in charge of them.
